Anna F. Roush, 84, of Liverpool, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Richfield Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Anna was born on February 8, 1940, in Mifflinburg, a daughter of the late Marlin and Hettie (Beaver) Mitchell, Sr.  On February 8, 1958, she married Stanley Roush.  They shared over 51 years of marriage at the time of Stanley’s passing on April 7, 2009.

Anna was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School.  She was a loving wife and homemaker for her family.  She was a member of the Liverpool Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.  Her hobbies included playing bingo, sewing, macrame’, watching tv, playing in a pinochle club in Liverpool, delivering Meals on Wheels, and in earlier years, attending dirt track racing.  Anna enjoyed traveling, cruising, attending her great-grandson, Austin, go-kart racing and spending time with her husband, family, and her friends at their family cabin in the Thousand Islands, Canada.

Anna is survived by her three sons, Jeffery Roush and his wife Patty, Jerry Roush and his fiance’ Betty Brosius, and Jans Roush and his wife Deb; grandchildren, Bryan Roush and his wife Jessica, Brandon Roush and his wife Rochelle, Jeremy Roush and his wife Stacy, Hope Coombs and her husband Kenny, and Heather Roush and her husband Bryant; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Haylee, Austin Roush and his wife Morgan, Gracie, Abbie, Caleb, Judah, Carson, Lily, Landon, and Adelyn; great-great-grandson, Kasen; nephew, Jason Mitchell and his wife Pam; and niece, Reva Mitchell.

She is preceded in passing by her husband, Stanley; parents, Marlin and Hettie; sister, Agnes Mitchell; and brother, Marlin “Bud” Mitchell, Jr.

A visitation will be on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 606 N. Front Street, Liverpool, PA 17045.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions in loving memory of Anna be made to the Liverpool Area Recreation Association, 201 Lara Lane, Liverpool, PA 17045.
