Arlene S. (Thierolf) Kerstetter, 77, formerly of Port Trevorton, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, with her loving family by her side.

Arlene was born on June 1, 1946, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Clarence and Gertrude (Dangler) Thierolf.  On August 16, 1962, she married the love of her life, Marshall C. Kerstetter, who proceeded her in passing two weeks ago on April 7, 2024.  Arlene and Marshall shared a loving marriage of over 61 precious years.

Arlene attended Selinsgrove High School.  She enjoyed gardening, baking, riding golf cart, animals, watching tv especially Dr. Pol, animal and game shows, feeding and watching hummingbirds, and time with her many dogs.  Arlene enjoyed and appreciated creating special memories with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arlene is survived by her loving children, Jeffrey Kerstetter and his wife Linda of Northumberland, Karen Barge and her husband Ronnie of Mt. Pleasant Mills, and Tammy Herrold and her husband Keith of Port Trevorton; daughter-in-law, Deborah Kerstetter of Port Trevorton; grandchildren, Cody Kerstetter of Port Trevorton and Brittany Martin and her husband Shane of Mt. Pleasant Mills; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Trevin, and Alaina; and sister, Esther Stuck.

She is preceded in passing by her husband, Marshall; son, David Kerstetter; parents, Clarence and Gertrude; brother, Everett Theirolf; and sisters, Virginia Kerstetter, Mildred Reichner, and Lillian Gearhart.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853.

Interment will immediately follow in Grubbs Church Cemetery.
