Delbert A. “Danny” Nipple, 79, of Liverpool, entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.

Delbert was born on March 4, 1945, in Maze, Delaware Township, Juniata County, a son of the late Lloyd E. and Miriam P. “Mim” (Garman) Nipple.  On August 5, 1965, he married the love of his life, Judy (Rapp) Nipple.  They shared over 59 years of marriage.

Delbert was a 1963 graduate of Greenwood High School. Early in life, he was employed at Keystone Railways and Meiser Lumber.  He was last employed by Richard Bucher, owner of the Agronomy Center.  He retired from there, after working several years in many maintenance capacities.

He was a member of the Liverpool United Methodist Church.  Delbert enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, and reading the newspaper and his Bible.  His greatest enjoyment was spending precious time with his grandchildren.

Delbert is survived by his wife, Judy of Liverpool; daughter, Joy Kinley and her husband Ken of Cogan Station; grandchildren, Jordan Kinley of Carmel, IN, Hailey Hinojosa and her husband Adin of Williamsport, and Cameron Clark and her husband Devin of Lompac, CA; daughter-in-law, Beth A. Nipple; and sister, Carol Cherry and her husband Steve of Berwin, PA.

He is preceded in passing by his parents, Lloyd and Miriam and a son, Troy A. Nipple.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at the Liverpool United Methodist Church, 109 S. Market Street, Liverpool, PA 17045, with Pastor Robert Basom officiating.
