Donald E. Moyer, of Selinsgrove, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 27, 2023, at his home.
Donald was born on February 22, 1947, in Sunbury, a son of the late Howard A. and Mary A. (Snyder) Moyer.
He was a 1965 graduate of Selinsgrove High School. After high school, he proudly served in the United States Army. He worked and retired from Ott Packaging where he was employed for many years as a die cutter.
Donald enjoyed gardening, playing cards, reading, and going on bus trips.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy Moyer; his companion and caretaker, Wayne Snyder; twin sister, Darlene M. Herrold; brothers, George Moyer and his wife Sharon and Robert “Lee” Bertinet; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Thomas George Moyer who passed away on October 24, 1989; brother-in-law, John “Pepper” Herrold; and sister-in-law, Patricia Bertinet.
Per Donald’s wishes, services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions in loving memory of Donald be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
