Erna J. Chubb, 84, of Richfield, entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Richfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, with her son by her side.

Erna was born on September 8, 1940, in Buffalo Township, Perry County, a daughter of the late Ernest Eugene and Minnie Sylvia (Benner) Dressler.

Erna was a 1958 graduate of Greenwood High School.  She was a homemaker for her family and a caretaker for her late daughter, Lori.

She enjoyed doing word puzzles and spending time with her family.

Erna is survived by her sons, Larry Chubb and his wife Cindy and Brad Chubb and his wife Kim; grandchildren, Larry Chubb, II, and his wife Jennifer, FrHonda Walter and her husband John, Jedidiah Chubb and his wife Kelsey, Tatyana McNaughton and her husband Kyle, Brittany Chubb, Savannah Chubb, and Cooper Chubb; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ernest Dressler and his wife Minnie, Sharon Bogovic, Sandra Barnes, and Lisa Hubbard and her husband Jim; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in passing by her parents, Ernest and Minnie; daughter, Lori Linn Chubb on April 20, 2007; sister, Brenda Pennay; and brothers, Ronald Dressler and Terry Dressler.

Per Erna’s wishes, services will be private and at the discretion of the family.
