Florence W. “Flow” Gift, 72, of Liverpool, entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at her home with her family by her side.
Flow was born on July 25, 1950, in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Harold C. Wolfe, Sr. and Thelma V. (Williams) Wolfe. She married the late George E. Gift, Jr., who preceded her in death on July 10, 2010. They shared over 30 years of a beautiful marriage.
Flow was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School. She retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania where she was employed as an Office Supervisor in the PA Department of Data Reduction, Internal Revenue Office.
She was a member of the AAA in Harrisburg.
Her greatest joys in life were her cats and gardening.
Flow is survived by her sister Marilyn Hayda; brother Harold Wolfe, Jr.; children George E. Gift, III and his wife Nancy and Christine High; grandchildren Jason Gutshall, Heidi Avalos and her husband Hector; Miranda Hansen; and Johnathan Carroll; and great-granddaughter Eliana Avalos.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son Ronald Wolfe.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 606 N. Front Street, Liverpool, PA 17045, with Pastor Andrew Bucke officiating.
Interment will be in the East Harrisburg Cemetery.
