Gary L. Spigelmyer
March 31, 1948 — April 13, 2025
Gary L. Spigelmyer, 77, of Liverpool, entered into rest at 2:30a.m., Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Transitions Healthcare, Duncannon.
He was born March 31, 1948, in Mt. Pleasant Mills, a son of the late Theodore R., Jr. and Esther Mabel (Kline) Spigelmyer. On December 31, 1984, he married the former Gloria J. Lyter, who survives.
Gary was employed as a laborer and truck driver at Susquehanna Valley Construction for over 30 years.
He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed helping in the pit crew at Selinsgrove Speedway, watching Nascar, and hunting.
In addition to his wife of 40 years, Gary is survived by one step-son, David Furman; two sons, Douglas Spigelmyer and Dana Hoffman; one sister, Karen Sarver and her husband Lawrence; one sister-in-law, Diane Spigelmyer; one brother-in-law, Ken Myers; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Hoffman; two sisters, Darlene Spigelmyer, in infancy, and Donna Myers; and one brother, Larry Spigelmyer.
Services will be held privately, at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gary’s honor can be made to the Liverpool Fire Company, 309 N. Market St., Liverpool, PA 17045.
