Jeffrey “Jeff” Jon Losch, 66, went home to be with his Lord and Savior at 2:47 p.m. on October
30, 2022, at UPMC in Pittsburgh.

He was born on May 28, 1956, a son of the late John and Kathryn (Jarrett) Losch.

Jeff was a 1974 graduate of Greenwood High School in Millerstown. He loved Jesus and humbly
shared his faith with others. Jeff was an active member of Niemonds Independent Church. He
loved to sing and always made it known that he was singing for Jesus.

He was the longtime owner and operator of John Losch Asphalt Paving. After retiring from his
business, he later worked for both Greenwood and Delaware Townships as an equipment
operator.

Jeff loved his family. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and spending
precious time with his wife, Joan, on their golf cart watching the deer. He also enjoyed the
outdoors and taking in the beauty of God’s creation. Jeff was an avid sportsman and a true
expert in hunting.

Jeff was a member of the Millerstown Sportsman Club where he looked forward to hosting the
John Losch Memorial Trout Derby each spring.

He had an amazing ability to relate to almost anyone he met, and he had a gift for storytelling.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Joan (Messimer) Losch; a father of his son Isaac
(Angelica) Losch of Millerstown and his daughter Jennifer (Matthew) Shetterly of Millerstown; a
pappy of two grandchildren Owen and Lily Losch; and a brother to Linda (Robin) Forbes of
Millerstown.

A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 12, 2022, followed by
a Celebration of Life service at Niemonds Independent Church, 36964 Route 35 N, Richfield, PA
17086, with Pastor Ronald Berrus officiating. At the conclusion of the service, there will be a
meal and a time of sharing.

Private interment will be at Bethlehem Cemetery.
