Judy P. Dunn, 75, of Thompsontown, entered into rest at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Richfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born April 15, 1949, in Oriental, a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Brown) Benner. On April 7, 1968, she married Carl E. Dunn, who survives.

Judy was a 1967 graduate of Greenwood High School, after which she completed beauty school in 1968.

She was employed as a traveling nurse for residential care and numerous nursing homes. Judy also had many years of experience in hospital care and taught nursing at the former Thompson Institute.

She attended Oakland Mills Evangelical United Methodist Church.

Judy enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, camping, coloring, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband of 56 years, she is survived by one son, Michael Dunn of Mifflintown; one daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Thomas Allen of Richfield; 4 grandchildren, Benjamin Allen and his wife, Kayla, Kevin Allen and his wife Kristen, Cory Dunn, and Scott Dunn and his wife Tesla; 8 great-grandchildren, Luke, Levi, Addi, Tori, Aubriella, Kason, Kohen, and Sadie; and two sisters, Evelyn Delancey, and Joan Miller.

She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Art, Harry, Larry, and Norman Benner; and one sister, Maggie Walton.

Family and friends are welcome from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Oakland Mills Evangelical United Methodist Church, 148 Leonard Rd., Oakland Mills, PA 17076, where a funeral will be held at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Nathanael Mowery and Pastor Kalem Mowery officiating.

Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Mifflintown.
