Kathy E. Buffington, 70, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Brookline Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Mifflintown.
Kathy was born on August 16, 1954, in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Norman and Caroline (Brookhart) Willow. She married Robert Buffington who passed over 20 years ago.
She was a 1972 graduate of Greenwood High School, and earned an associate degree at HACC.
Kathy had been employed at PA Home Builder’s Association in customer relations and marketing, and, later at IBM as a parts specialist.
She enjoyed reading books, cats, pigs, especially collecting pig memorabilia.
Kathy is survived by her brother, Harry Willow and his wife Pat; nieces, Michelle Quigley and Kristy Willow; great-nephew, Tyler Rissinger; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in passing by her husband, Robert, and parents, Norman and Caroline.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions in loving memory of Kathy be made to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
There will be no services, per Kathy’s wishes.
