Kenneth P. Kerstetter, 79, of Mt. Pleasant Mills, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at his home.

Kenneth was born on September 4, 1945, in Mt. Pleasant Mills, a son of the late Paul G. and Alvesta Mae (Fogle) Kerstetter.  On November 27, 1965, he married his loving wife, Betty J. Kerstetter.

Kenneth graduated from Middleburg High School.  His employment included Paul Heintzelman Masonry, Yorktown Kitchen, Poloron, Trindle Construction, and he retired from Wood-Mode in 2008.

He was a member of Arbogast Lutheran Church, Middleburg Masonic Lodge No. 619, Middleburg Moose, and a past member of the Williamsport Consistory.

Kenneth enjoyed making furniture in his woodworking shop, hunting, farming, traveling with his wife in 48 States, multiple Providences, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Florida, Wheeling, and Branson, and attending flea markets, yard sales, and auctions.

He is survived by his bride, Betty; son, Scott A. (Treasa) Kerstetter; grandchildren, Justin (Charlene) Kerstetter, Danielle (Seth) Lantz, Ryan (Isabella) Kerstetter, Taner S. Kerstetter, and Christopher (Emily) Solomon; great-grandchildren, Khloe, Kaleb, Wesley, Kinsley, Ivory, Daisy, and Waylon; extended family, Ashley and Kailey; sister, Dorothy Workman; brother, Robert Kerstetter; brothers-in-law, Norman (Dorothy) Minium and Garry (Patricia) Minium; sister-in-law, Barbara (Christopher) Auker; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenneth is preceded in passing by his parents, Paul and Alvesta; brothers, Charles Kerstetter and Newton Kerstetter; and sister, Orpha Kerstetter.

A viewing will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA, with Pastor Nick Smith officiating.

Interment will immediately follow in Arbogast Lutheran Church Cemetery.
