Laura M. Fawver, 79, of Liverpool, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Laura was born on January 10, 1944, in Richfield, Juniata County, a daughter of the late John and Pauline (Stroup) Haubert. On December 26, 1970, she married her late husband, Richard Fawver, Sr., who preceded her in passing on March 17, 2010.
She retired from Nordic Gear Garment Factory in Millerstown where she was employed for 40 years as a sewing operator. After retirement, Laura served as an in-home caregiver.
Her hobbies included doing all kinds of crafts, flower gardening, puzzles, and playing bingo.
Laura is survived by her son, Richard Fawver, Jr. and his wife Hollie of Liverpool; grandson, Cody J. Fawver of State College; great-granddaughter, Aurora Fawver; her twin sister, Mary Buckley and her husband Donald of Thompsontown and sister, Donna Maurer of Mechanicsburg; three brothers, Arthur Haubert and his companion, Shirley Kidd of Newville, Gary Haubert of Thompsontown, and Leroy Haubert and his wife Eileen of Port Royal; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in passing by her husband, Richard, and her parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions in loving memory of Laura be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 13770 Noel Road, Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380.
Services are at the discretion of the family.
