Linda Jean (Dreese) Hunt

Linda Jean (Dreese) Hunt, of Shamokin, entered into the arms of her loving savior on Thursday, March 20, 2025.

She was born February 15, 1968, in Sunbury, a daughter of Ralph Dreese and the late Mary (Bailey) Dreese.

Linda attended Brookside Ministries Church in Shamokin Dam.

She worked at Snyder County Trust, Keystone taking care of individuals, and then later worked as a private caretaker, which she loved. She also loved working in Childrens’ Ministry from her teen years on up.

Linda loved to listen to church services from all over the world.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her beloved husband, Ed Hunt; three siblings, Lora (Mark) Phillips, Lisa (Mike) Brosius, and Kevin (Kelley) Dreese; one step-daughter, Lisa Mowery; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; many aunts and uncles, who she spoke with often on the phone; and her special dog, Wally. Linda loved her family dearly.

In addition to her mother, Linda was preceded in death by two brothers in infancy, Keith and Barry; and by her precious dog, Bear.

Family and friends are welcome from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853, where a funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Mark Phillips officiating.

Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg.
