Lori A. Baker, 58, of McAlisterville, entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Richfield Senior Living and Rehabilitation, with her loving family by her side.

Lori was born on March 17, 1966, in Lewistown, a daughter of the late Alfred J. and Evelyn E. (Wynn) Barger.  On May 28, 2005, she married the love of her life, Andrew J. Baker, Jr.  They shared over 19 years of creating special memories in their marriage.

She was a 1985 graduate of Lewistown High School.  Earlier in life, Lori worked for the Richfield Shirt Factory for 13 years.  Later, she worked for the PA Department of Labor and Industry in Harrisburg as a Clerk Typist 3 from where she retired after over 20 years of service.

Lori is a former member of the Richfield Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, a member of Oakland Mills Evangelical Methodist Church, and currently attended Cedar Grove Brethren in Christ Church.

Her favorite hobby was camping, especially camping at Roxberry.  Lori’s absolute favorite times were spending precious time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Andrew; son, Michael P. Strawser and his wife Amanda; daughter, Christi R. Partner and her husband Jordan; grandsons, Levi Strawser and Noah and Mason Partner; father-in-law, Andrew J. Baker, Sr.; mother-in-law, Eunice Carvell and her husband Joel; and her furbaby, Gypsy.

Lori is preceded in passing by her parents, Alfred and Evelyn; and brother, Alfred P. Barger.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Cedar Grove Brethren in Christ Church, 287 Deerville Road, Mifflintown, PA 17059, with Pastor Ken Hepner officiating.

Interment will immediately follow in St. John United Methodist Church Cemetery.
