Margaret was born on July 28, 1930, in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Carl E. and Nancy Jane (Tate) Stitt.  On October 21, 1956, she married her loving husband, Warren E. Hetrick, who entered eternal rest on September 25, 2006.

In the mid to late 1950’s, Margaret was employed at McCrory’s Five and Dime Store on the square in Lewistown.  Her life was dedicated to being a wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.

Margaret and her sisters had a passion for music. They enjoyed singing gospel music and were known as the “Stitt Sisters Trio”.   Margaret’s many hobbies included sewing, cooking, reading, and writing poetry.  Her favorite and most precious times were spent with her loving family.
