Mary K. Dreese, 80, of Middleburg, PA, peacefully passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024.

Mary was born in Snyder County, PA, on April 25, 1944, a daughter of the late Harry and Edith (Kline) Bailey.  On February 16, 1963, she married the love of her life, Ralph V. Dreese.  They shared over 61 years of marriage.

Mary was a member of Brookside Ministries in Shamokin Dam.  She was known for the awesome wife, mother, and granny that she was.  Mary loved to cook and take care of her family.  She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her loving husband, Ralph, Mary is survived by her children Lora Phillips (Mark) of Rockport, IN, Linda Hunt (Ed) of Shamokin, Lisa Brosius (Mike) of Selinsgrove, and Kevin (Kelley) Dreese of Freeburg; 11 grandchildren, Mary Pyle, Casey Pyle, Heather Brosius, Jason Brosius, Sabrina Burrous, Kyle Dreese, Kristen Dreese, Keith Dreese, Jonathan Phillips, Hannah Clark, and Elizabeth Franz; siblings, Floretta Kratzer, Carol (Luther) Dreese, Clarence (Joyce) Bailey, Maynard Bailey, Darlene (Gary) Hubbert, Kay Conklin, David Bailey, and Janet (Kenny) Mengle; and brother-in-law, David Apple.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; two infant sons, Keith and Barry; sisters, Bernice Apple and Marion Hackenburg; brother, Jerry Bailey; sister-in-law, Charlene Bailey; brother-in-law, Gary Hackenburg; and stepmom, Ruth Bailey.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Brookside Ministries Church, 11 Stetler Avenue, Shamokin Dam, PA 17876, with Pastor Jerry Helman and Pastor Mark Phillips officiating.

Interment will immediately follow in Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions in loving memory of Mary be made to Brookside Ministries, PO Box 428, Shamokin Dam, PA 17876.
