Mary L. (Ramer) Kauffman, 86, of Mattawana, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

Mary was born on November 20, 1937, Port Trevorton, a daughter of the late Walter B. and Pauline K. (Stahl) Ramer.  Early in life, Mary married the late, Kenneth Sholly.  She later married the late James Kauffman.

Mary was employed and retired as an LPN from the Rathfon Nursing Home in Selinsgrove.  She was a member of the Millmont Mennonite Church.  She enjoyed crocheting, especially baby blankets, and gardening.

Mary is survived by her sister, Theresa Brubaker and her husband Amos of Illinois; step-children, Greg Sholly of Fort Worth, Texas, Debra Zerbe of Mt. Carmel, Pennsylvania, J. Richard Kauffman and his wife Susan of Athens, Pennsylvania, Gerald L. Kauffman and his wife JoAnna of Selinsgrove, Carol J. Yoder and her husband Merl of Bittinger, Maryland, and Donald W. Kauffman and his wife Christina of Millmont, Pennsylvania; two sons-in-law, Joseph Yoder and his wife Jane of Selinsgrove and Brent Herrick of Richfield; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceded in passing by her husbands and parents.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday, April 29, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Millmont Mennonite Church, 1250 Millmont Road, Millmont, Pennsylvania with the Millmont Mennonite Church Ministry officiating.

Interment will immediately follow the funeral service at Grubbs Church Cemetery.
