Mary E. “Nan” Mangle, 84, of Liverpool, entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

“Nan” was born on May 28, 1939, in Dauphin County, a daughter of the late John and Florence Morgan, Sr.  On September 21, 1963, she married Marlin E. Mangle, who preceded her in passing in July 1990.

“Nan” was a 1958 graduate of Central Dauphin High School.  She worked for local garment factories as a seamstress and floor manager.

She was a member of Liverpool United Methodist Church and the Liverpool area Red Hats.

“Nan” enjoyed attending her church and her Red Hat Society functions, shopping, and walking, especially walking to Shine Coffee Company for her coffee.  Her greatest enjoyment was the love she had for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

“Nan” is survived by her daughters, Susan Yeagle and her husband James, Sherry Mangle and her companion Scott Simmons, and Lisa Anstine and her husband Aaron; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Meloy; grandchildren, Samantha Mitterling and her husband Joshua, Joshua Ricker and his wife Marina, Elizabeth Swan and her husband Anthony, Randy Yetter, and Adalyn Anstine; step-grandchildren, Matthew Harlow and his wife Brandi and Michael Harlow; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Kayson, John Charles, Amelia, Kassandra; step-great-grandchildren, Rily, Michael, Michealle, Elijah, and Abel; and her siblings, Larry Morgan, Helen Hoover, Joan Stence, and John Morgan, Jr.

She is preceded in passing by her husband; parents; son, Samuel M. Meloy, Jr.; and siblings, David Morgan and Doris Foltz.

Per Mary’s wishes, her services are private and at the discretion of the family.
