MaryLou E. Lower, 65, of Sunbury, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

MaryLou was born on March 7, 1958, in Milton, a daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Wildt) Banghart.  On June 2, 1990, she married the love of her life, Guy E. Lower.

MaryLou was a graduate of Shikellamy High School. She enjoyed life being a homemaker for her family.  Her special hobbies included cooking, sitting on the front porch, doing needlepoint, walking, and spending time creating special memories with her three puppies, her son, and her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Guy E. Lower of Sunbury; her son, Gerald Banghart of Sunbury; her sister, Brenda Guzik and her husband Edward of Shamokin; her brother, Eugene Banghart of Middleburg; her half-sister, Lorraine Brouse and her husband Carson of Middleburg; nephews, Adam Guzik of Shamokin and Kenneth A. Banghart of Sunbury; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

MaryLou is preceded in passing by her parents, Edward and Mary Banghart; a sibling, in infancy; and her three special furbabies.

Services will be held at the discretion of the family and announced at a later date.
