Robert (Bob) J. Reichert, Sr., 89, of Ickesburg, entered eternal rest on Monday, December 19, 2022, at The Gardens at Camp Hill.  Bob was born on November 12, 1933, in Susquehanna Township, Dauphin County, a son of the late Roy H. and Edith M. (Holtzman) Reichert.  Early in life, he married the late Lillian B. (Gilbert) Reichert, who preceded him in death in 2012.

Bob drove truck from 1952 to 2008, retiring from ABF.  He enjoyed trucks, reading the newspapers, playing dominoes, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children Ettie Lentz of Halifax, Robert Reichert, Jr. and his wife Diane of McAlisterville, Dennis Reichert and his wife Lubiann of Mechanicsburg, Joseph Reichert and his wife Sue of McAlisterville, Faith Graeff and her husband Rick of Cabool, Missouri, and Edith Reichert; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; wife Lillian; three sons Jesse Reichert, Mark Reichert, and Jimmie Reichert; granddaughter-in-law Katherine Reichert; two grandsons Joshua Reichert, and Matthew Reichert; great-grandson Evan Reichert; and great-granddaughter Evelyn Reichert; son-in-law Paul Lentz in September 2022; and siblings Roy Reichert and his first wife Dorothy and second wife Beverly, Ralph Reichert and his wife Violet, Gilbert Reichert and his wife Nancy, Kirby Reichert and his wife Dorothy, Woodrow Reichert, Mildred Strohm and her first husband Charles Fox and her second husband Harry Strohm, Catherine Landis and her husband John, and Wilda Botts and her husband George.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 606 N. Front Street, Liverpool, Pennsylvania 17045, with Pastor Ron Berrus officiating.

Interment will immediately follow in Saint Michael Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Millerstown, Pennsylvania.
