Warren D. Chubb, 83, of Richfield, PA, entered into the arms of Jesus on July 4, 2024, at Geisinger Hospital. He was born on July 2, 1941, in Richfield, to the late W. Lee and Evelyn (Leister) Chubb. On May 5, 1962, he married Patricia (Shellenberger) Chubb. They shared over 62 years of marriage.
Warren was a 1960 graduate of East Juniata High School. He was a truck driver for most of his adult life.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Tamera Leitzel and husband Bob, Doug Chubb and wife Laura, and Tracy Kuhns and husband Dennis; five grandchildren, Travis Leitzel and wife Kim, Katelyn Alderfer and husband Aaron, and Brayden, Wyatt, and Jayce Chubb; seven great-grandchildren, Addison, Morgan, and Cole Leitzel and Grant, Nolan, Miles, and Davin Alderfer; four sisters, Marcella, Karen, Marlene, and Debbie; brother-in-law, Bob Shellenberger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by twin grandchildren, Brandon and Bryan Chubb.
He was a member of Niemond’s Independent Church of Richfield and a former member of Richfield United Methodist Church.
His hobbies included woodworking, hunting, fishing, camping, spending winters in Myrtle Beach with friends, and spending time with his family.
Services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Niemond’s Independent Church with a viewing from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Berrus officiating.
Burial will be in Richfield Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in loving memory of Warren may be made to Niemond’s Independent Church Building Fund, 36964 Route 35, Richfield, PA 17086.
